I woke up and casually looked out of my bedroom window which backs on on the River Dee in Holt. I saw in the distance a fire which I can only assume as a camp fire - probably somebody night fishing. I also noticed a bright light - REALLY BRIGHT it looked as though it was above them but it might have been a distance away but I couldn't tell how far. I don't think it was a plane coming in my direction because it was moving too slowly across the sky, in fact you could only tell it had moved if you looked away for a bit. I was watching it on and off for 5 hours, so someone else must have seen it. The night was very clear and starry and in the end I decided to get the binoculars. It looked as though it was shimmering - almost like fire. It must have been still in the sky when it was just getting light because my mum had said she saw something odd and had tried to video it but the batteries were dead. She described it like two car headlights in the sky and the lights were attached to some sort of metallic object.
