1/3/2010- Between 1-2am approximately, Union, NJ (USA). Was outside smoking cigarette talking on bluetooth to friends when noticed what appeared to be the moon and a star aligned a few feet away from each other moving in perfect unison circular at a moderately slow rate of speed. It was a perfectly clear night, caught my attention on how odd it was never saw the moon move and at that rate and with what appeared to be a star trailing it from behind. Friends made fun of me and told me to get in before I got abducted, live a short distance from NWK airport, so somebody else had to see it too. Didn't have phone to record event with me, and went back inside after smoking and chalked it up to some gravitational pull or earth rotation, never saw anything like it, like star wars or something. Please let me know if this was by anyone else especially in this area.
