Am a serving firfighter with the london fire service , whilst on a job this morning i was looking at the sky in a southerly direction .Whilst looking up i noticed an orange / red object flying at very very high speed towards london , at a high altitude , the resaon it was unusual was the size and the speed.
At this point i called my collegue who also saw the object , the shape was of an upturned crab shell , there was no noise and it continued towards london , it then started to move left to right at extremely high speed and at right angles it did this for aprox 2 seconds and then excelerated in an upwards direction lving behind ,for a fraction of a second a white trace it then disapeared over london .
Both my colleague and i live near or haved lived near Heathrow airport for many years and neither of us have any explanaition for what we saw ,we are also both full time firefighters and have been for 20 and 24 years respectivly .
This sighting took place in hayes middlesx .
