Date: 12 Sept 2008 Time 20.02 Location M23 between Outwood and Smallfield Sussex Area UK Description - Heavily Wooded area to the left of my driving position, Driving after dusk on the inside lane of the southbound motorway observed what I thought initially was a meteor streak, glanced briefly to see a small ring shaped object flash by parallel to the motorway above tree tops, instantly caught my eye as object going at great speed, yellow tint and defined ring shape to the sighting,difficult to judge size, was not an aircraft, or conventional light. Visibility was good, moon was high, bright and 3/4 size.
