All members are expected to make use of the Discussion Forums (also described herein as "service" and "system") in a constructive and intuitive manner to discuss extraterrestrial issues that are relevant to the focus of iwasabducted.com (also described herein as "website").  This purpose of this service is to provide sanctuary to alien abductees and those believers who are interested in serious dialogue of this and other related extraterrestrial phenomena.  Members agree to exercise the appropriate behavior in order to foster a supportive, comfortable, relaxing, and friendly atmosphere.

Disrespect to other members and "flaming" is not allowed, and will result in suspension of membership privileges and/or a possible ban from the service.  Abuse of the system to harass or spam members will result in similar disciplinary action.

Members agree to register only one username.  After registration, a member may change his username that is seen by other members, however, the original username will be required to log in to the forums and will remain unchanged for accounting purposes in the forum database. Multiple accounts will not be tolerated and will also result in consequences.

Abuse of the system in general, or directed toward any member will not be tolerated.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT:

The Discussion Forums are provided as a free service to all adults ages 18 and older.  By registering for this service, you certify under penalty of perjury in a court of law that you are at least 18 years old.

CONTENT:

We have created individual forums for specific topics related to the extraterrestrial focus of this website. Members agree to post only relevant topics and replies in their appropriate category. The forum administrators and moderators will have the authority to move discussion threads from one forum to another if it is reasonable to assume that a topic was posted in an inappropriate area.  An "Off-Topic Forum" has also been created where members may discuss virtually any topic.  Examples of off-topic material include subjects that this website DOES NOT focus on, such as: Bigfoot, The Loch Ness Monster, The Occult, Witchcraft, Sorcery, and Religion, to name a few.

UNSUITABLE CONTENT:

Advertisements for any product, service, or website will not be permitted.  Members will have the option of linking their homepages or websites in their personal member profile, which is created upon registration.  At no time is any member to promote their website by posting its URL in a discussion thread, however, it is acceptable to refer members to your member profile if relevant to the discussion.  Those people who join for the sole purpose of making posts to refer members to their website will be disciplined.  Links to noteworthy relevant news articles or material on other websites are PERMITTED AND ENCOURAGED to facilitate the flow of information providing that there are no special, scandalous, or personal interests.

No explicit pictures such as pornographic material or nudity may be posted in a discussion thread or anywhere on this website.

No pictures that may be deemed as offensive shall be allowed.  Images used to flame and/or offend any member will not be tolerated for any reason.  Please refer to our section on conduct (above).

REGISTRANT'S AGREEMENT:

You agree through your use of the iwasabducted.com Discussion Forums, to adhere to all terms and conditions. You will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of ANY law. Such actions are not humorous and legal actions can be taken against you. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or you have consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also inappropriate to these forums.

Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted messages and are not responsible for their content. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any information presented. The messages express the viewpoints of the author, not necessarily those of this website. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator or moderator of this forum immediately. We have the right to remove objectionable content within a reasonable time frame if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy goes for member profile information as well.

Please note that for additional security, the IP address of every user is recorded as he or she posts. In the event that the terms of this agreement are violated, the website reserves the right to ban the offender from the forums and to contact the offenders internet service provider to report the violation or abusive behavior.

VIOLATION OF SAID TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

The administrators of this website and its forum moderators will collaborate to make judgment for necessary corrective action against violators of these terms and conditions on a case by case basis.  The website reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.  If you think that something that you want to post just might be perceived as offensive, then we strongly recommend that you do not post it.

UPDATES AND AMENDMENTS TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
