This formation of circles was discovered in Teton, Idaho by the Parker family who stumbled across the circles on their land. According to Brenna Parker, farmer's daughter, "My Uncle Lewis was irrigating Saturday morning (10 August 2002) and came up over the hill and seen the crop circles."   Shortly after news of the patterns in the field circulated, thousands of people came by to look at them, including a researcher that believes them to be authentic.  According to Brenna, the scientist claims to have studied crop circles for three years in the UK and believes that the patterns are too perfectly formed to be a hoax, and additionally that since the crops were laying flat and otherwise did not sustain any damage (footprints, etc.) to be indicative of a prank.  The scientist furthermore informed the Parkers that she expects that the aliens will return to the same place in the future.  Brenna says, "Maybe we'd be looking forward to it, even charging admission."
