This is an old sighting from about 1964-68. I dont remmeber exactly when but I do remember the event itself. There were five people (4 adults 1 child{me})at our rural home in Ohio. While in the back yard the adults noticed some lights in the sky, this small grouping of lights stayed stationary. It remained in this posistion long enough for my father to get a pair of binoculars and the two male adults to take turns exaimining it. I could see the object, it appeared to be rectangular and I believed the lights formed letters so I assumed it was the bottom of a blimp, you know with a "drink coke" ad or something. But when the adults finally let me use the binoculars I reliesed it was not large and far away but small and close(maybe 100-150 yds)also the lights did not form letters but were irregularly spaced and rectangular. The lights did not move , blink or change color(white). I placed no paticular importance to this event untill I grew up and happened to buy a book called "The Gulf Breese Sightings". In this book were many photos of supposed UFOs and one of them was very similar to my sighting.
