To Whom it May Concern,

Myself and 2 other people saw several UFO's in NYC in late June of 1978 (perhaps Sunday the 25th). They appeared to be large white orbs that kind of popped out of nowhere, hovered or moved silently. At one point 2 of them merged and sank below the Manhattan Skyline. We saw planes fly by and they didn't appear to be planes. My one friend took photographs of these lights but they didn't appear in the developed photos.

I recently looked for mentions of this event in the newspapers existent at the time but could find no mention of this event. I was 19 at the time and didn't think to check the papers back then. I didn't hear about a sighting from anyone. Any help would be appreciated.
