Subject: Sleepwalking Incident or Abduction?

I had an experience back in July of 1988 at the time I was six months pregnant with my oldest son. I still don't know if this actually happened to me or whether I was just sleepwalking.

My husband was in the army in Fort Knox, Kentucky and we were living in Radcliff, Kentucky. For some reason he was not home at the time, I can't remember whether he was on a field exercise or possibly in Maryland at the time for some type of army schooling. I remember I had gone to bed to go to sleep so I could've been dreaming or possibly sleepwalking. But I remember walking outside in the middle of the night and a mysterious woman kept calling my name she knew my name somehow, she kept saying Leona in a sort of hypnotic voice it seemed. 

She was far from me not sure how far but for some reason I could make out the details of how she looked. She had shoulder length blonde hair and was wearing a long white dress and was standing beneath a tree and when she called my name it seemed as if I knew her or met her somewhere before, her voice had a very calming, tranquil effect on me. I kept walking toward her and got within a couple of feet of her and all of a sudden she looked a lot different then she did from a distance. She no longer had shoulder length blonde hair, but little sprouts of blonde hair that stuck out from her scalp, most of her scalp was exposed and she had a very high forehead. She still looked human- like but not completely human like but yet I did not feel afraid of her when I saw that her appearance had changed, she still wore the same white dress. She stood and talked to me about things but I can't remember what but I do remember thinking later the things she spoke with me about were important. 

All of a sudden these three grey like beings stepped from behind the tree and they were carrying a silver metallic looking box, they had black eyes like the being on the front of that Whitley Strieber novel and when I saw them I became frightened and started to scream but no scream would come out of my throat it was if my vocal chords were paralyzed and I remember wanting to turn and run but I could not move any part of my body at all. When I became frightened the woman began to speak to me but the weird thing was she seemed to be speaking to me this entire time with her mind not her mouth but as she began to speak to me I became calm and tranquil again for awhile.

The grey beings opened this silver box and there was a baby inside it looked only partially developed and it looked part human and part something else and for some reason I thought it was frightening and remember thinking oh my gosh they are going to hurt my baby that is inside of me or try to take my baby and put that baby inside of me and I began to scream again but again no scream would come out of me.

The next thing I knew it was morning and I woke up in my bed. I felt awful, like I had not had any sleep the entire night and noticed on my pillowcase a little drop of blood and there were scratches all over my forehead. I remembered my dream and got up out of the bed thinking thank god it was just a dream then went out into the hallway and my back door was wide open and there was mud all over the white tile floor then I thought to myself well maybe I was just sleepwalking and actually went outside in the middle of the night and returned and at the same time had been dreaming. I did have an eerie feeling about it for a long time though. 

Another odd thing happened to me several years later this time in Fort Polk, Louisiana in 1991 or 1992. I became pregnant and was very sick for the first two months more sick than I had ever been with any other children that I had been pregnant with and went to bed one night and kept dreaming about the grey beings I had dreamed about in Kentucky and just kept seeing their faces over and over all night in my dream and my stomach was hurting but I couldn't wake up. 

The next morning I woke up and discovered I was bleeding, I had had a miscarriage. I went to the doctor right away and they did an ultrasound and he said are you sure you were pregnant and I said yes I had the pregnancy test done here at the hospital and I asked why and he said because we can't find any fetus. Later he verified that I had been indeed pregnant and took a pregnancy test at the hospital and had the hormones present in my body that you have when you become pregnant. His explanation for there not being a fetus was that my body had reabsorbed the baby, he said this was rare but happened sometimes.
