13th January 2000 between approximately 7.30pm and 1.10am( I wrote the date/time down the next day ).
This is not the first time I have recounted this story, but I will repeat it here for this new and interesting site.
I was lying on my lounge carpet that evening watching TV. My head was propped up by a pillow as I lay there half-asleep ( I was bit bored and tired at the time ). My girlfriend was out.
Suddenly, I heard a sharp tap at the window to my left ( the curtains were shut ). I ignored it. It happened again. Without warning, my entire world changed dramatically in a way that petrifies me even to think back to that moment.
It was as if the air around me, the space of my room - had become 'thicker' - like water. I was submerged with what I can only describe as 'slow-motion-ness'.
I COULD NOT MOVE at all and the air felt heavy, like it was pressing down upon my chest.
I remember my eyes filling with water ( perhaps tears of fear - I do not know ). My vision also became blurred. I felt the presence of several 'characters' in my room that I could not turn to look at and not define even as shapes. they moved like shadows at the corner of my vision - only BRIGHT colourful shadows ( as opposed to dark ones ). I tried to speak but even my voice was frozen.
The sensation of vulnerability and helplessness I experienced at that moment still scares me. I never want to experience it again.
Eventually, through sheer will-power - I managed to somehow bring my sensation back to my body ( It occured to me at the time that I could be permananently parylised ). The panic was akin to that felt ( or imagined )in trying to surface in time, swimming upwards, from deep water, when you think you might not make it for that last desperate breath.
When I checked my watch it was 1.10am and the TV was off completely. The fuse had gone in the plug.
I was so shaken that I didn't even mention this experience to my partner for months. I am convinced that this was a form of abduction or interference by alien entities. I have been unable to really discuss this in any depths because I people don't believe me and put it down to dreaming, etc.
Can anyone relate to this experience?
