I was driving my 12 year old daughter to her riding lessons (several years ago) at a farm approximately 5 miles from our home. At one point on the road I suddenly felt confused because the houses that were suppose to be on my left, were on the other side of the road. After a few seconds, I asked my daughter, Elena, how we got turned around. In order to be going in the other direction, we would have had to turn in somebody's drive-was and do a 180 degree turn. Elena was rather confused as well, and had no explanation as to why we were heading back home. I then looked at my watch and was shocked to see that approximately one and one-half hours had lapsed. Both Elena and I became very quiet and did not talk too much about the stangeness of what had happened. We did turn aroung and continue to the riging lesson, and when we got there, the instructor wanted to know where we were, that the lesson was over and all that.....So it goes...we don't tell too many persons.. obviously....but Elena, now a music major in California, read a book about missing time and how some of those persons think that they were abducted....Oh well....Life is strange...
