It's been a proven fact that UFOs have the uncanny abuility to dissapear from any radar systems in any given area. It seems that they absorb the radar signal like a sponge therefore no signal bounces off of them to give the radar towers the abulity to detect them. Hence in a small town it would most unlikely that no one hasn't seen it unless nobody paid attention or for the most common reason, ridicule from others.
So it tells me that the craft had came to your town at the right time when most of the populist were in bed and the others were controlled as not to see the craft at all. The dream you had at 15 was probably from what I call time released memory. Your subconscious does not forget. When you read Whitneys book it triggered part of that time released memory by some action in that book that was simular to yours. Sometimes the memorys of the encounter will come as flash backs. Flash backs may last only a second but thier is a lot of detail with in that flash back.
Heres a suggestion. If you will, start writing everything down you know about that day and following night. As you write this day and following night down draw what you see in your mind as it looked back then. Color the pictures as well. In time you will open a window in your minds eye. You will remember more detail as you progress. I put all my nightmares and flash backs together over a period of time and started to remember more about my encounter. Even if it may be only stick drawling, you'll start to remember more. Your minds eye never forgot. You just have to open a window to it.
