I have written to this site before concerning certain weird experiences that have taken place in my life . The other day I was reminded of an incident that took place at our old home . We had all just gotten home from a camping trip . We had gone camping at Reds Point at Toledo Bend . Anyways , when we got home my mom and dad had to go get some groceries . We had been gone for over a week and had taken most of the food with us on the camping trip . After my mom and dad had left me , my sister kim , my two younger brothers Ron and Ernie , and a friend that had come on the trip with us Betty Jo were all in the living room listening to Casey Casems Top 40 . All of a sudden there was a loud noise outside , then immediately after the loud noise there was a perfectly round glowing ball , of what looked like static electricity , that came floating right through the front window . It didn't damage the window . It just seemed to float there for about 5 to 10 seconds and then faded away .
Now the funny thing is my mom and dad had just left to go to the store , and when that thing faded away they were pulling up in the driveway . Casey Casems Top 40 Had just started when this occurred , and now they were well into the list . It seems that an hour and a half had passed by and none of us can remember what happened during that time frame . But , I can remember two incidents that took place . One was what happened ; all of us dancing and acting crazy in the middle of the living room listening to the stereo , and then the loud noise , then the shiny glowing ball of static electricity , then mom and dad coming home . The other thing I have a memory of is that for some strange reason we were all looking out of the front living room window . It was a perfectly clear sky outside , but in this memory it was overcast outside . Then a lightning bolt hits the telephone pole outside in the front of the house that was in front of our house . Our house was set back from the street behind another house .
Now when mom and dad got home we all quickly ran outside to go see the pole . There was absolutely no damage to the pole , but in the false memory the whole top of the pole had been blown off by the lightning strike . Like I said , I wasn't alone for this one . I don't know about the friend betty jo , but my sister and my two brothers still remember that incident till this day . One of the things that we all remember and have commented on is the fact of how scary that glowing ball was . It seemed to be watching us . I don't know if they have more than one memory of that incident like I do , and I really don't care to find out . For some strange reason we have never spoken of that incident much , and whenever I ask one of them about it they just say yeah they remember it and then politely change the subject . Hmmm ???
