Sounds familiar to me. I had some problems with things like that too.
In some ways we may be classified as sleepwalkers, the
sleeping disorder call somnambulism. A sleepwalker may perform
a wide variety of activities while asleep, including
putting on or taking off clothes, walking around, bumping things getting bruises, driving a
car, all without actually being awake. Some guy
with this disorder very well could wake up in his own backyard
naked with unexplained bruises and then say 'My gawd! I been abducted by dem damned aliens again for crisakes! I
better tell da uthers at the alien abduction support group this saturday!'
This is just a possibility. It is not to discount your story.
