This photo allegedly depicts an alien survivor of a UFO crash in the custody of two U.S. Military Policemen.  This picture was originally obtained from a U.S. soldier that was stationed in Weisbaden, Germany in the late 1940s.  It remains unclear exactly how the GI came into possession of this photo.  Also unknown are the identities of the two MPs, the location of the base where the picture is purportedly taken, and the exact nature of the breathing apparatus worn by the alien.  On May 22, 1950, an anonymous individual gave the original photograph to Agent John Quinn of the New Orleans FBI Field Office.  The informant claimed to have purchased the photo for $1.00 from another individual and was turning it over to the U.S. government because it showed that a "Man from Mars" was in the United States.
