Reported by Paul Velardi from dsl-customer131.coosnet.com (12.108.8.131) on Thursday, February 05, 2004 at 4:39PM : It happened yesterday, Wednesday 2/5/04 at my place of work at about 7am. It was still dark out and very cloudy. I was standing outside smoking a cigarette about halfway under the building's overhang, and halfway under the morning sky. I heard a strange sort of a scraping sound on the ground. It sounded like when a hard leaf is dragged on the ground by wind...but it was very calm outside. When I looked down to see what it was I noticed a quickly moving light, sort of like someone moving a flashlight beam in an area about a foot in diameter. I immediately backed up under the overhang, having almost scared the life out of me...and noticed the light had disappeared as quickly as it came! It really rattled me, because something like that had NEVER happened to me before. A while later after the sun had come out I looked down at the cement walkway where it had happened, and I noticed there was a green tint in the area where the light had been...and it's STILL there! There is assorted moss in the cracks of the cement and a green astroturf style carpet under the overhang, but the shade is nothing like that. It's as if someone had lightly sprayed a green paint in that area. And something I forgot to mention...I work at a radio station! There are antennas on the roof, and a couple of large satellite dishes in the backyard! Can anyone tell me...was I ALMOST abducted? Paul
