possible attempted abduction

I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was during a night in the Spring or Winter of this year, 2010. This is a one time, new experience. I have for most of my life - I am now age 67- followed the UFO phenomenon, more at some times more than others. I had been for about a couple weeks before the incident, been trying to visualize the place where extraterrestrials might come from and had been concentrating on sending positive messages about their visitation and making contact. That night I had what I thought was a rather vivid dream. There was a being, perhaps more than one, attempting to pull me away from my bed and bedroom. I was hearing or receiving a message " you are being engaged". What I was experiencing frightened me so much that I struggled, twisting and trying to pull away with all the strenth I could muster. And, I did get away. I believe I woke up afterwards, feeling I had experienced a really frightening dream or a nightmare. I have stopped, since, sending mental messages or doing any visualizations in fear that I could have a similar nightmare again.
Like I said, it had the feeling of a nightmare, but at the same time, a scary and as one often feels when dreaming, a "real" sense to it.
